According to legend, this vantage point is named after the suicide of a young tailor. The tailor was in love with a peasant girl, but a rich farmer's boy snatched his lover away from under his nose. Driven by disappointment and pain, the tailor threw himself into the depths near this group of rocks.

Very nice vantage point on the summit of the Bärenstein and as a highlight an information board on which the legend of the unhappy love of a tailor for a farm girl is told. Great👍
