Kämmerzell (formerly Cemera cella; means cell of the chamberlain) is a district of the eastern Hessian city of Fulda, with about 800 inhabitants. Kämmerzell is located on the Fulda River.
Kämmerzell was first mentioned in history in 1150. According to oral tradition, Saint Godehard von Hildesheim held a baptism in Kämmerzell in 996. Because of this, a chapel was built in the middle of the street, so that the two lanes had to be led outside. In 1629 the chapel was replaced by a church.
