Before you set out, be aware that while the trail is generally dry, some sections can become muddy after rain; however, boardwalks are often present to help. Alligators may be present near sloughs, so always observe any posted warning signs for your safety. Parking is conveniently available at the Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park Welcome Center, making access straightforward for your visit.
