Skelton Tower is a great photographic opportunity in its own right. From there views over the North Yorks Moors Railway can be had. A good spot for a refreshment break and a chance to shelter from the wind if the weather is bad.

The ruined Skelton Tower is a great photo stop with an amazing view. It was built in around 1830 as overnight lodgings after a day out shooting on the moor. It's often an out-and-back visit on a run, due to the hole and the railway track to the north. Well worth the run though.
