Due to the increase in the world market price for fluorspar, mining in the Oehrenstöcker area was resumed in 2005. It takes place from the "Gehrener side" from the neighboring Schobsetal.

Here you drive into the historic valley tunnels with a miner and experience the mining of the past century.
Opening hours:
Wednesday-Friday: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Weekends and public holidays: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Caution: Due to the current SARS-CoV-II situation, the mine is currently closed (as of June 22, 2020).
