Because Reinbek originally belonged to the parish of Steinbek, whose services also took place in the chapel of Reinbek Castle from time to time, there was initially no need for a separate church for the Protestant Christians. However, when the castle was auctioned off by the Prussian financial authorities in 1874, a church building association was founded for Reinbek, which became an independent parish in 1894. The foundation stone was laid on June 10, 1900. Local master mason Carl Ohl built the church according to the plans of architect Hugo Groothoff, who had already planned the similar Christ Church in Pinneberg in 1894/95. On July 21, 1901, the Reinbek church was consecrated after a 14-month construction period. It only received its current name in 1969, in reference to the monastery that existed in Reinbek until 1529.

The Parkschloss was built in 1903 as "Villa Lichtenfels". It was part of the Wentorf building boom around the turn of the century around 1900, when wealthy Hamburg merchants, shipowners, and senators had huge summer and retirement residences built there in the countryside. The Parkschloss served as a representative stately estate for one of these shipowners. The lover of the Rhine Romanticism wanted to realize architectural elements inspired by the famous Stolzenfels Castle in Koblenz am Rhein in the building. Many of these rich Hamburg families lost their possessions or financial means in the course of the Great Depression and the political upheavals of the 1920s and 1930s. Thus, "Villa Lichtenfels" also had to be sold. The new owner was the National Socialist People's Welfare (NSV). After the Second World War, the building experienced various uses and was finally operated for many decades as a senior citizens' home and nursing home ("Parkschloß Wentorf"). Operations ceased in 2017. Today, the villa is privately owned again.

The oldest and most significant building in Reinbek is the castle in the Dutch Renaissance style. Duke Adolf I of Gottorf had the castle built between 1572 and 1576 in its present form. Initially a secondary residence of the sovereign, the castle was the residence of the district administrator during the Danish era and later briefly the seat of the district administration for the Stormarn district. Today, the faithfully restored building is available for public use, for example as Reinbek's cultural center.

When, at the end of the 18th century, old wooden bridges in the Duchy of Holstein were replaced by stone structures, the bridge over the Reinbeker Mühlgraben was also rebuilt. In 1793, the bridge was built according to plans by state master builder Johann Adam Richter from granite blocks, with two rows of superimposed ashlar forming the parapet. In 1900, the old connecting path to Wentorf was relocated to the current road layout. The "Dänenbrücke", named so because the Duchy of Holstein was under the rule of the Danish king at the time of its construction, has since only served as a pedestrian and bicycle bridge.

The pedestrian and bicycle crossing of the Bille is not routed together with the car road here. Instead, there is a small bridge construction of its own, which winds under the large railway bridge over the river, around its piers, to the other bank.

In September 1890, Reinbek's first pharmacy opened in this house. Previously, medicines had to be obtained from afar. Even the then 75-year-old Prince Otto von Bismarck, who resided in Friedrichsruh, only a good seven kilometers away, was affected by the long distances. Therefore, the Reich Chancellor, who had only recently been dismissed by the Kaiser, ensured that Reinbek received the license to establish a pharmacy. Since 1932, the pharmacy has borne his name - with the permission of his grandson. Today, the Fürst-Bismarck-Apotheke combines this history with e-prescriptions, modern pharmacy, and its own production.
