Here is the entrance to the (former) barbecue hut. The hut is still standing! The location is fantastic – beautifully situated in the forest. I don't know when it was abandoned. There are trees lying down, the driveway is overgrown, but everything can still be saved. In the 90s, we had lovely evenings here with the youth group from the fair. Coming from Großseifen, the hut is a little way before the still-occupied "Weidling House."

Interesting information on the plaque and a single stone. I much prefer the magnificent panoramic view toward the Siebengebirge in clear weather.

Here you can see the disused buildings of the past. Nature is slowly reclaiming the land.

The building is in excellent condition. It is used by the Kruschel company, which maintains the building in this good condition.

We only admired it from a distance because we wanted to continue hiking. I have rarely seen such a great barefoot path.
