In the second quarter of the 13th century, the nave was built as a rectangular hall, perhaps as a chapel without a choir. Its brick architecture is still well preserved on the north side with the profiled base, two small arched windows (other windows changed), double dentil frieze and, above all, the arched portal inserted into an extended frame with richly structured molded stone frame and old iron-clad door. A higher, different base and a late Gothic console frieze show that the nave was extended to the west in the 15th century, perhaps after it became a parish church. The rectangular choir was probably added at the same time. Its gable is decorated with late Gothic circular and cross panels. In 1887/88 the wooden tower to the west of the church, which was perhaps still from the late Middle Ages, was replaced by the 52 m high brick tower based on a design by the Flensburg government architect Plüddemann (later city planning officer of Breslau). At the same time, the entire south side received a cladding made of machine stone with new pointed arched windows and a neo-Gothic framing of the portal.

The path is heavily rutted with ruts from forest vehicles. It's a little tedious to walk, but it's okay on the edge.

Here the trail is pleasant as there are not so many branches and twigs on the trail.
