The Stoppelkopftrail can be started from two different points. Once in front of the Hermanns-Hütte (northern part) and once after the hut, turning left (southern entrance). Both entrances have their charm. The southern one is a bit narrower and less frequently used. After the confluence, there are a few rocky sections. Basically, the trail is easy to ride. For those who like narrower trails, the Glaser-Pfad slightly north is recommended for the descent to Forsthaus Silbertal.
