The branch church of St. Catherine in Müsch was built in 1787 and is a protected cultural monument. In 1972, the old chapel was expanded. The old chapel structure became the chancel, and an octagonal nave was added. The modern windows blend remarkably well with the historic part of the chapel. Source: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Katharina_(M%C3%BCsch) Some of the furnishings come from the nearby former pilgrimage chapel of Müllenwirft. The churches in Wirft and Kirmutscheid also contain items from the pilgrimage church, which was abandoned around 1800. Source: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wallfahrtskapelle_M%C3%BCllenwirft

Unfortunately, I didn't go inside. But even from the outside, it's very beautiful and worth seeing.

The Catholic parish church of St. Gertrud in Schuld dates back to the middle of the 13th century. In 1923 it was largely replaced by a new building, which was destroyed in the Second World War. The current church was built between 1972 and 1974 according to plans by the architect Peter von Stipelen. The patron saint of the church is St. Gertrud of Nivelles. The creation of an independent parish in Schuld is dated to the period around 650 to 975. In a chronicle from 975, the parish is mentioned in writing for the first time and its boundaries are described. At that time, Schuld belonged to the manor of the Prüm Abbey. There must have been a parish church at that time, and a new church was built on its site around 1240. The foundations of the former nave and the current tower of this building have been preserved.
