15 years of the Goldsteig Trail – to mark this occasion, a corresponding rest area was established for hikers at the end of October 2022 at the intersection of Deggendorf, Regen, and Straubing-Bogen on the Goldsteig Trail. This "new" Goldsteig rest area, called "Klausenstein," features a sculpture column, an information board, and, of course, comfortable seating.
