⏏️Halde Norddeutschland, around 102 meters high ⛰️. Today it is freely accessible and is used extensively for walking, kite sports, cycling, walking and other sports and leisure activities⛰️. From the free, spacious car park the sky staircase with 359 steps is the shortest route to the summit of the Halde Norddeutschland↗️⛰️💗. The hall house on the summit: This steel construction, which is vaguely reminiscent of an oversized, approximately 10-meter-high greenhouse in the garden. What is meant, however, is one of the large half-timbered residential-stable farmhouses that were and in some cases still are particularly characteristic of the Lower Rhine and northern German regions. The living areas were located directly next to the stables under one roof. A characteristic feature of hall houses is usually the large barn door on the head side. The hall house on the Norddeutschland slag heap is a scaled-down model of such a house⏏️. 🌃In the evenings, the stairs and the hall house are illuminated💡.

The Norddeutschland Halde (North Germany Heap), approximately 102 meters high, was operated between 1952 and 2001 with approximately 80 million tons of overburden. Today, it is freely accessible and is actively used for walking, kite flying, cycling, walking, and other sports and leisure activities. From the free, spacious parking lot, the 359-step Stairway to Heaven provides the shortest route to the summit of the Norddeutschland Halde (North Germany Heap).
