The Wupper weir and the concrete footbridge over the Wupper are remaining relics from the time when the turbine house opposite was still in operation to generate hydroelectric power. It was built in 1818/1819 and is now a listed building.

A very old control point on the lake, which still invites you to take a little rest

Beautiful view of the dam. And a romantic sign on the "Valentine's Bench".

Beautifully located restaurant directly at the Bevertalsperre. You can get all sorts of things here – from ice cream to a warm meal. From the terrace you have a clear view of the water and the beach. When the weather is nice on the weekend it is naturally full. The restaurant is also open during the week - outside of peak times you can enjoy your break here in peace.

The "mini roundabout" at the old railway bridge on the Ohlerwiesen cycle path has been embellished. The Wipperfürth artists Mirza Atug, Giovanni Manica, Henry Schellenberg and Claudia Grabe created the sculpture "Time Rails". The sculpture, made of greywax stone, combines old with new. While the stone appears modern with its abstract faces, the old railway tracks incorporated at the foot of the sculpture connect the work of art with the history of the old railway bridge.
