A gorgeous nature reserve comprising beech forest and coniferous forest, Ubbalts naturreservat is a wonderful place to explore. Just a short walk from Vittsjö, it's rich in history and was once home to medieval iron production. The Skåneleden long-distance trail runs through the reserve.

Vittsjön is a beautiful lake that's a hub of activity. From the hiking around its perimeter to water skiing, wakeboarding, canoeing and swiming, there's plenty to enjoy here. The 1612 Battle of Vittsjö took place here, which almost saw the newly crowned Swedish King Gustavus Adolphus drowned while on the run from Danish forces.

Café Sjöstugan enjoys a fine location by Vittsjön. It's home to Vittsjö VSK, a local water skiing club. The shrimp sandwich has a particularly good reputation here.

This beautiful road stretches between two parts of Lake Unnen. Nearby, there is a swimming area, beautifully located bathing in the middle of Unnaryd community with a sandy beach and a jetty.

It looks like a kiosk, but inside there's a small café with a garden. Some of the cakes are baked in-house. Coffee and tea are available for self-service.

The cake is delicious, but way too expensive! Tourist rip-off! 3 pieces of cake and 2 cups of coffee 320 crowns = approx. € 29 No words...you can only find prices like that in Paris...
