You can chat with locals, have a cup of coffee or a glass of beer or wine, and enjoy local delicacies such as berry pies. The café serves as an information point for the Outokumpu Wilderness and Nature Center. A 7 km nature trail and a canoe route across 12 lakes start from Särkiselkä. Wonderful place! Beautiful sandy beaches.
