A walk around Lake Nonnensee is always worthwhile, as is a detour to Bergen.

That's true, I ride on the cycle path from Bergen to Sassnitz and back via Mukran and then towards Sassnitz. Then to Polchow via Mukran, then turn right at the traffic lights and drive to the Mukran traffic lights and then drive to Bergen, which is very safe for us cyclists, and then in Augustenhof you push your bike across the road because it's very dangerous without looking to see if a car is coming or not. One person didn't want to believe me when I said that it was very easy to cross the road and a truck hit him and unfortunately they couldn't help him. His friends gave false information to the police and lost everything and I had witnesses and they didn't. It's very dangerous if you want to cross. I'd rather wait longer than I have to and that's a really good thing. I just wanted to tell you, my dears. You can also drive over Tilzower Berg and then drive towards Sellin and there are some cycle paths there too, but not in Tilzow.

It is the oldest building in the city of Bergen on Rügen and, along with the parish church of Altenkirchen, the oldest building on the island of Rügen. Construction of the church, a Romanesque basilica with a transept, began around 1180 under the Rügian prince Jaromar I. Jaromar had to abandon his plans to expand the church into the Palatinate because of the unfavorability of his Danish feudal lords. That is why the church was consecrated in 1193 as a monastery church for Benedictine nuns. In 1380 it also became a parish church. The nave in the form of a three-aisled hall with five bays and the upper floor of the transept date from the Gothic period (14th century). Source: Wikipedia

I did this hike for the first time today and I won't be doing it again anytime soon. Took too long and left too late. But it was a very nice route, I have to say. I can recommend the tour to anyone who wants to hike. You need very good conditions and a lot of time to do the tour. It is not suitable for short hikes, only for athletes and for people who dare to do the tour and come back again. Your expert and athlete Thomas from Bergen on Rügen
