The photo doesn't do the view justice, this is what I think of when people say the Netherlands are flat.

The town hall in Bolsward is one of Friesland's most beautiful gems. The richly decorated town hall was built from 1614 to 1617 and designed by Jacob Gysbert (father of Gysbert Japicx) in a Frisian Mannerist style (late Renaissance). After the municipality of Bolsward was incorporated into the municipality of Sùdwest-Fryslân in 2011, it lost its function as a town hall. The building will be given a new function in the coming years: the new historical center. A place where past and present meet with museums, an antiquities room, the Library, and a new archive repository. In short: the treasure chamber of the region! On the ground floor of the old Town Hall, you will now find "Blend", a catering establishment where you can enjoy a pleasant and delicious dinner. The evening photos of the center were taken from the Old Town Hall after dining at "Blend".
