The most beautiful way in the Göhrde!

The Breeser Grund is a beautiful, former hut forest. It is quite hidden in the state forest of Göhrde. A very beautiful heather landscape, which is characterized by sessile oak and birch. There are only single-lane sandy paths through the Breeser Grund, the stretches of which are very soft and therefore not particularly easy to cycle on. But it is worth the effort, because the landscape is really picturesque, especially during the heather bloom (around mid / late August to mid / late September).

The Breeser Grund is a former hut forest and a beautiful, small heather area, which is relatively hidden in the state forest of Göhrde. The area really looks like a fairytale, especially when the heather is in bloom. Here you can enjoy nature in peace, you rarely meet other people here. The paths through the Breeser Grund are sometimes quite sandy and rooted, so not recommended for racing bikes. You also have to drive (or hike) quite a bit on forest paths to reach the Breeser Grund. For me, the Breeser Grund is one of the most beautiful areas in the Wendland.

Sallahn (slav. Sol '= salt) is a district of the municipality of coastal in the joint municipality of Lüchow. From here you can start a run very well. The surrounding forest is great for running. You have the choice between forest floor, cobblestone paths and gravel paths. The roads from Sareitz to Sallahn are hardly used. It is also suitable as a final stretch for a sprint.

When the heather is in bloom, it is most beautiful here (in the Breeser Grund)! One of my favorite places in Wendland, due to the heathland and the large, old (partly dry) oaks, the Breeser Grund looks really magical.

The Breeser Grund is a former hut forest and a beautiful heathland area, in the middle of the Göhrde state forest. The path through the Breeser Grund consists partly of very soft sand and therefore not so easy to drive on by bike (but is quite normal in heather areas). Since the Breeser Grund is advertised here for "dog scooter riding", it should also be noted that the Breeser Grund is a nature reserve, besides roe deer, etc. there is also the possibility of meeting wolves. Dogs must therefore be kept on a leash, especially during the breeding, setting and rearing season from April 1st to July 15th!
