The Nulandse Heide is a quiet nature reserve on the Brabant sandy soils between Nuland and Rosmalen. The area consists of an alternation of forests, heathlands, sandy paths, and open landscape sections. Despite its location close to built-up areas, it has a quiet and rural appearance in many places. The landscape has been shaped by centuries of use of the poor sandy soils. In the past, a large part of this environment consisted of vast heathlands where sheep grazed and sods were cut for agriculture. Later, parts of the area were afforested, creating the current alternation of pine forests and open nature. During a walk, the quiet forest paths and the open heath-like sections are particularly noticeable. The Scots pines, birches, and heather give the area a typical Brabant character. The atmosphere changes significantly in different seasons: from purple heath in the summer to the warm colors of the forest in autumn. The Nulandse Heide is not a large nature reserve with spectacular height differences, but rather a place where the charm lies in the tranquility, the space, and the recognizable landscape of the Brabant sandy soils. A beautiful piece of nature to get away from the hustle and bustle for a while.

Witch Route in the Geffense Bosjes is a fun route specially designed for children. There are various play options along the route, such as building your own branch huts, slalom poles, low and high stepping logs, climbing trees, picnic table and balancing tree trunks. The route can be followed via red and green birdhouses and witches' hats on the trees. The green route is 1 km, the red about 2 km. There are also posts with QR codes along the route with fun facts about the forest.
