Nice place to serve as a starting and/or end point of your trip. It is also a nice place to eat or drink something. If the weather permits, you can sit outside with a view of the heath.

Nice path through the forest edge to include in your running lap. The path is great for doing some acceleration before heading back to the sandy paths and single tracks on the heath.

Zanderij Hollebol is located between Meentweg, Valkeveenselaan, Vogellaantje and Oostdijk. The area is located a lot lower than the surrounding area, which gives you a very nice overview of the area from different sides. In the past, sand was removed from here and sold by the wealthy merchants living here, often to Amsterdam where the ground had to be raised and reinforced. The Indische Buurt in Amsterdam, for example, was built on sandy soil brought in from the Gooi.
