An ancient market town that is still thriving today, dominated by its Priory Church which dates back to Anglo-Saxon times. An ideal place to grab a hot meal in any of its pubs and cafes, or visit the local brewery.

A proper audaxer’s favourite, this one. Used as a late night control on many a calendar event. It’s open 24 hours so it’s good to know that it’s there if you’re on a long distance ride and everything else is shut. There’s a Subway and a Costa machine in the garage itself and a McDonald’s across the road.
