There are two train stations in the city, both on the Nuremberg – Irrenlohe railway line. The Sulzbach-Rosenberg train station is located near Sulzbach's old town and is usually served by regional express trains every hour. Until 2023, these trains also stopped irregularly at Sulzbach-Rosenberg Hütte station, which is located east of the city center near the former Maxhütte. The stop has no longer been served since the timetable change in December 2023.[37] City buses operate in the city center on behalf of the Amberg-Sulzbach Local Transport Association. These connect the parts of the community with the city center and the train station. There are also several regional buses that run to the surrounding area. Source: Wikipedia

Only two remain of the former multi-track station. Industry (e.g. Maxhütte, Rohrwerk, Malzfabrik...) required a good connection.
