A small wayside chapel with a Lourdes grotto and a beautiful statue of the Virgin Mary. The chapel was commissioned in 1887 by the then innkeeper, Anton Glonner.

If the Stracciatella ice cream parlor in Zorneding didn't already exist, someone would have to invent it!!! Ideally located in the center of town, it offers a great selection of delicious Italian ice cream. It's now so popular that you have to queue and can hardly find a place to enjoy your ice cream. Equally popular with all age groups. Highly recommended :-)

There is also a monument in Zorneding, which commemorates "the" Bavarian king. However, it is a bit isolated in the middle of the intersection, from the other side of the street you can hardly see who is being commemorated here.

There are not many ways to get from Zorneding to Pöring and vice versa: The train is in the way! In the town center there is a main underpass just west of the S-Bahn station, wide enough for pedestrians and cyclists. A few hundred meters further west you will find an underpass at the level of the village pond. And about 1km to the east there is this small underpass that leads from the eastern end of Zorneding to the Pöringer side. You end up on Eglhartinger Straße at the eastern end of town. This is very helpful, because otherwise you would have to make a huge detour through the town center further west. I hope this helps you.

The first wooden building of a church, which according to the Martin patron and according to local ecclesiastical orientation, which is expressed in the donations of two nobles to the diocese of Freising in the years 813 and 821, may have existed as early as the 9th century replaced by a Gothic stone building at an unknown date. From this some inventories are still preserved (especially the Madonna, a large wall cross, the baptismal font made of red marble, some tombstones). However, this first stone building had to be demolished due to dilapidation and was replaced by a baroque new building in 1719-21. The church tower is an impressive 37 meters high - its basement comes from the previous building. http://st-martin-zorneding.de/?Pfarrgemeinde:Kirchen:St._Martin_Zorneding
