The Selzam Schlössl in Utting is located near Lake Ammersee and was built in 1890. With its compact, upward-looking form and turrets, it is reminiscent of the medieval Hofmark castles. The painter Eduard Selzam (1859-1951) designed the building according to his artistic ideas, with the lighting conditions inside playing a major role. Today, you can also rent a vacation apartment or guest room here. – What few people know: The likeable actor Hannes Jaenicke, who is very committed to environmental protection and social issues, has been renting the Schlössl for a long time. Further information and great photos of the interior can be found in a report by "tz" at https://www.tz.de/stars/homestory-lebt-wohnt-hannes-jaenicke-besuch-seinem-haus-ammersee-zr-5922031.html
