The Engelsrieder See is a small, sickle-shaped moor lake that is a great place to linger. It was created artificially for fish farming. There is also a beautiful lawn on the north bank that invites you to relax. Bathing is very pleasant here.

The Seehäusl offers Greek cuisine. My tip: the sumptuous starter plate! We were invited there twice by friends for various festive occasions. The first time I was looking forward to gyros, souvlaki or the like, but the different salads, the diverse, differently pickled vegetables and the varied pastes on the plate simply topped everything else! The starter became the main course.

The Engelsrieder See is a small, crescent-shaped moor lake with an area of 11 ha and a maximum depth of 4 m. It is located in the area of the municipality of Rott in the Landsberg am Lech district. Although it looks as natural as a natural lake, it is an artificial lake in which fish farming is carried out and can be bathed. The Rottbach flows through the lake and borders in the south on a forest area that merges into a raised bog. Its water has the deep brown color typical of moor lakes. In the eastern part of the north bank there is a freely accessible lawn with a small restaurant. Bathing here is especially nice for children,
