The bridge over the Wöhrsee between Hauptsee and Herzogbad is the only way to cross the Wöhrsee. It was renovated in April 2024. During the construction work, the entire bridge, including the concrete foundations and lock, was dismantled and renewed. The wooden girders were replaced with steel girders so that rotting wood will no longer be a problem in the future.

The so-called powder tower is part of the castle complex in Burghausen. The gun or battery tower on the Eggenberg probably contains the remains of a polygonal tower, which is suggested by the course of the defensive wall. In 1471, a "guard on the Egknperg" is mentioned. The current building dates back to the time of Duke George the Rich. The mighty building was originally surrounded by a double ring of walls with around six round towers. The originally steep roof was probably replaced by a much flatter one in 1620. A well in the tower was used to supply the garrison, from which all floors could be operated via cable winches. The well is now 22 meters deep, but at that time it was certainly at least as high as the water level of Lake Wöhrsee. Source: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulverturm_(Burghausen)
