When you are on foot and in wet weather, it can get quite slippery. Sturdy footwear is recommended.

I'm too old for the course, so I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. There are three routes with different focuses. I ran as far as the ski jumps, and I imagine it's similar further up.

Extensive forests surround the Schwarzer Grat. Directly near the summit, you hike through a lush green forest that repeatedly offers views of the Allgäu region. The partially exposed roots are particularly impressive.

The highlight for the kids. Wild over hill and dale! But be careful, especially on the downhill slopes, you need to be sure-footed.

For me, the amusement park is a little gem. You can start or finish many tours here. You can work up a sweat in the pond, there is a beach volleyball court, lots of play equipment for children, mini golf on "artificial grass" and a kiosk with typical food and friendly service. During the week it has been pleasantly quiet so far.
