Attention: Public transport (Kinzigtalbahn) is a real disaster! Schenkenzell and Loßburg - i.e. the upper starting point of the Flößerpfad - are no longer served (allegedly due to time constraints, since more modern carriages have been in use... probably once again the issue of safety). When biking, fitness is required here due to several very steep climbs, for us there was no flow even downhill. And for hiking, in our opinion, the Flößerpfad is too broadly developed, they are mostly farm tracks, partly asphalted.

The "Alpirsbächle" is indeed a small tributary of the Kinzig River in the Northern Black Forest. It flows through the town of Alpirsbach (Freudenstadt district, Baden-Württemberg) and probably gave the town its name.
