Short, unproblematic ladder section on the way to the Reither Spitze, although the aluminum ladder does spring a little.

A somewhat mixed experience. On the one hand, the via ferrata is solidly constructed and the rock is top-notch, albeit a bit worn but not smooth. The views along the way are also good. The difficulty, rated C, is limited to shorter sections. What somewhat limits the enjoyment is the route guidance – in many places, the course is chosen artificially rather than logically, and one could just as well find their way a few meters next to the cable with easy scrambling (1) up the gullies. This makes the route sporty and interesting, but not necessary to get from the starting point to the summit, which somewhat diminishes the experience. Also, roughly half of the numerous stirrups are placed directly next to good footholds, so one would have had a nicer climbing experience without them. The access path to the start on the Komoot map does not exist; simply follow the path a little further, then you will see a good trail and the large information board at the start.

At the Schartlehnerhaus, a former inn, there are tables and benches for a relaxing break. It's beautifully situated, right at the tree line.

The path to the Seefelder Spitze is a wonderful experience. Once you get there, you get a wonderful view. The path can be covered on foot or part of it by train. The descent is very steep in places and you should not be afraid of heights.
