The Odjo d'Agua is a very nice, long-established hotel. You can jog right through the complex to the old harbor. If you then continue jogging along the beach, you will come to huge piles of shells.

On this promenade you have to be careful who you talk to, not the Cape Verdeans but African men who have come from the mainland because of tourism, they will try to persuade you to buy something and sometimes lure you very meticulously into their shops.
