Embark on the Pershore Bridges Circular Walk, a moderate hiking route that guides you through a charming blend of riverside paths and tranquil woodlands. You will follow the River Avon, keeping an eye out for local wildlife, and wander through the peaceful Tiddesley Wood Nature Reserve, which bursts with dog's mercury, primrose, and bluebells in spring. This 6.6-mile (10.6 km) journey involves a gentle 273 feet (83 metres) of elevation gain, typically taking about 2 hours and 46 minutes to complete.

When planning your visit, you will find that the route is generally considered easy to moderate, featuring mostly flat terrain with just two slight slopes and one flight of steps. Parking is readily available, often starting and finishing at the Pershore Bridges Picnic Place. While there are no stiles to navigate, be aware that paths can become muddy after rain, so wearing suitable footwear is a good idea to ensure a comfortable hike.

As you hike, you will catch glimpses of the historic Pershore Abbey, its impressive structure rising above the town, adding a touch of history to your outdoor adventure. From higher vantage points along the trail, you can also enjoy panoramic views stretching across to the distant Cotswolds and Bredon Hill. This route offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and local heritage in the Pershore area.

Beautiful medieval bridge over river Avon. Incredibly well preserved given its age.

The old bridge is picturesque, and its also a great place to while away an hour or two by the river.

Lovely little church in the old part of Wyre Piddle, which also has a number of B&W thatched cottages.

By far the highlight of this section of the Wychavon Way. Very pleasant place, but it is on the flood plain and so is not accessible when the Avon is in flood.
