Presumably, this call barrier is a special feature. Unfortunately, I had no luck here. The quiet automatic answering machine, which I only heard after pressing the call button for the second time, informed me that opening was not possible due to a technical defect. Apparently, I wasn't the first to wait in vain for the barrier to open, because there is already a footpath next to the level crossing. I checked the situation and nimbly crossed the tracks. However, this isn't entirely safe, as the trains travel very fast there.
