At least here you can cycle with a view of the sea (whether the part-time sea is currently there or not)! 🙏🏻

The right one if you like brackish water and don't want to give in to the dictates of the tides.

If one were also allowed to cycle or at least 'walk the bike' along the beach promenade during the summer season, the dike would be a real cycling highlight… 😉 The ban was surely caused by cyclists in the past who, despite being asked to walk, remained seated on the saddle. As an exception, I was allowed with the folded Brompton after arguing that this bike, when folded, is even classified as hand luggage on the DB after intervention by the ADFC.... 😁

If one were also allowed to cycle or at least push their bikes along the beach promenade during the summer season, it would be a real cycling highlight… 😉 The ban was surely caused by cyclists in the past who remained seated on their saddles despite being asked to dismount. As an exception, I was allowed through with my folded Brompton after I argued that this bike, when folded, is even classified as hand luggage on the DB after intervention by the ADFC.... 😁
