The town of Wassertrüdingen is very beautiful. Old buildings and picturesque corners to discover. There is a great cyclist hotel where you can also eat well. Otherwise, the place is rather very quiet. We were there on a Sunday and the old town was pretty dead.

The area around the Wörnitz is really super beautiful. You can't cycle directly along the Wörnitz - :-) "rarely" probably describes it even better, but the river winds its way very naturally through the landscape.

The Heilig-Geist-Spital was one of the richest foundations in Bavaria and was the largest property owner in the city. It consisted of the Spitalmeierei (agriculture for self-sufficiency), an administrative building with a court, a hospital church with an adjacent cemetery, the Pfründehaus, the actual hospital with a kitchen, a storehouse, a bakehouse with a well, and a mill. The fountain is richly decorated with flowers in the summer. The former water wheel of the Hardmühle dates from the 18th/19th century. The stage of the Landestheater is housed in the former hospital barn.
