July 13, 2026, Coopersale Lane and Hobbs Cross Road Scenic Route

Nice stretch of road to help get out properly into the country lanes. Heading away from Theydon its a descent, back towards is a steady climb up. Do be mindful and careful for some of the large pot holes particularly around the edges, this road has always seemed particularly notorious for them!

London's most kitsch monument? Definitely an eye-catcher, which is probably why it's highlighted again and again

February 19, 2026, The Flask Pub

So, the pub is called Flask and it's very well-known. The history is gruesome, but today it's a cheerful place, with a fireplace in winter and a beer garden in summer. It can get absolutely packed!

September 2, 2025, White Downs Lane Climb

Road surface has been replaced recently which is good. The initial part of the climb is brutal, descending it can be difficult especially in the wet so don’t pick up too much speed!
