Haardter Schloss (also called Haardter Schlössel or Villa Clemm) is a fairytale-like, castle-like estate in the Haardt district of Neustadt an der Weinstraße. It was built between 1876 and 1893 on the Schlossberg by architect Franz Huber. August Ritter von Clemm, a co-founder of BASF, acquired the area and used it as his stately residence. From 1928 to 1971, the building served as a spa and recreation home, and at times as a hotel and restaurant. It is privately owned and not accessible to the public.

From here you have a beautiful view over the plain, up to the Pfälzerwald. The surface of the cycle path is very good, also great to ride with a road bike.
