April 24, 2025, Kaperskaret Pass

Kaperskaret Pass is one of the most famous climbs in Norway, and a tough effort. Climbing from sea level, you'll gain a lot of altitude quickly, so take your time and enjoy the views. It's a good idea to have an extra layer for the top as the weather can be bad.

Fantastic view of Gryllefjord from the bridge. There is a dedicated cycle path on the bridge, or you can take the longer way around the fjord.

Nice coffee shop inside the ferry terminal. Open every day.

Follow the EV1, don't follow the bridge from Gryllefjord through the tunnel and you will get a fantastic view to the other side of the Fjord. The road to the other side is closed but with a bike or also walking you can go there and reach the other side of the tunnel. It's an impressive view and a wild way down. It's worth it and a great welcoming from Senia if you arrive with the ferry.

Hamm is a tiny little fishing town that has recently been supplemented by some new buildings. There is a wide range of tourist offerings here: drinks and food, overnight stays and excursions.
