YES, the HABSBURG is really worth a visit, not only because of the cool drinks they have there, but also salads (small and large) with chicken strips and homemade special sauces/dips. What can I say, just try it yourself!!

Henry Dunant Museum, Heiden The Henry Dunant Museum is fit for the future! In autumn 2023, the comprehensive renovation was completed. With careful and respectful interventions on and in the listed building, the 19th-century structure has been brought into the present day, creating the foundation for an open, contemporary museum world. The Henry Dunant Museum is the world's only museum dedicated to the life and work of the visionary initiator of the International Red Cross and the Geneva Conventions. Henry Dunant (1828–1910) spent the last 18 years of his life in Heiden. The Appenzell village with its classical architecture was an internationally renowned spa town at the time. He wrote his memoirs here. At 800m above sea level, with a view of Lake Constance and beyond borders, he further developed his ideas for a more peaceful world and an International Court of Justice. In Heiden, he received the notification in 1901 that he would be the first to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. The museum dedicated to him is housed in the building where Dunant lived as a reclusive pensioner until his death on October 30, 1910.
