As a newbie to hiking, especially in mountains, it was a bit more difficult. You should definitely be fit. And take a compass with you!

For those who don't want to/can't walk the circular route: The route from the bus stop or from the parking lot to the "Dalevatnet" lake is already beautiful and worth seeing. At the lake you can paddle a kayak, swim or just relax.

The hike is beautiful, but the circular route should not be underestimated. I personally prefer to walk the hike clockwise. I prefer to go up the steep, almost vertical part through the forest to Dalevatnet, going down would be too dangerous and too slippery for me because of the moss.

Parking available, recommended as a tour start, better counterclockwise

highest point in the round trip, great view, nice varied tour; if the route is run counterclockwise, you can swim shortly after the descent in Langevatnet, initially marked somewhat more difficult, parking at the endpoint available

After the descent a great place for a break, recommendation for the small headland right of the path, ideal for a short pleasure in the water, fresh but crystal clear, without stones, you just sink a little into the sandy soil ...
