A beautiful old forest, with large, beautiful trees. Easily accessible paths (in dry periods!).

Nice forest paths to hike in this area. August 2026: very well-walkable and dry paths.

August 2026: due to the long dry period, the hollow way is passable again. But there are many unevennesses and large grooves, made by heavy vehicles that drove on the hollow way during a rainy period and sank into it. The route along the hollow way is therefore easier to navigate.

A chapel built in 1923 in the hamlet of Bois Hellin, the furthest from the village center of Mainvault. To reduce the residents' isolation, the chapel was built by Reverend Lenor.
