On the edge of the water, these mysterious metal structures emerge. Once they had a clear function — today they mainly leave room for imagination. Are they old loading arms? Remnants of a forgotten installation? Or just silent witnesses of an industrial past? What is certain: their robust shapes and rough lines form an intriguing contrast with the tranquility of the surrounding landscape. Here, nature, history and a touch of mystery come together. A place where you stop to look... and maybe even come up with a story yourself.

Every time I pass Kati Heck's statue in the Puurse village center, I'm thrilled by the energy radiated by the bronze-cast "Sähfrau." I don't need to know the artist's intention or the meaning of her work; its spirited flair is enough to lift my spirits. (Sabine Alexander)

Drietoren Castle is a beautifully situated country house on a square plan. It has been in the possession of the noble family de Spoelbergh for more than 150 years. According to the facade stone on the entrance side of the castle, it was built in 1786. The castle is surrounded by an English park with exceptional flora, collected by Viscount de Spoelberch during his many foreign travels. The domain also has a coach house, a farm, an ice cellar, a garden house and a chapel. The chapel is located on the edge of the domain against the street side.
