The Duck Farm was formerly part of the large park of the Princes of Ligne's castle; it was here that ducks were hunted to grace the tables of the lords of the manor, hence its name. Nowadays, it is a haven for amphibians, dragonflies, and other insects.

To the left of the church is the unique Abbey-guesthouse of Our Lady with the Rose, founded in 1242 by the widow of Arnoud IV of Oudenaarde and completely restored. The large complex of a historic farm, the monastery garden with a beautiful Gothic choir, ice cellar and cemetery, is a monumental example of a self-sufficient medieval hospital. Inside are art objects, writings from the 13th century and furniture from the 16th century. The museum hospital from 1895, the oldest in Wallonia, shows the evolution of medicine and pharmacy. Open from 2 to 6 pm, daily (except Mondays.).
