This is Hoeve Sint-Jozef, whose U-shaped buildings around a paved courtyard date from the 18th century, although their origin may be older. The farm is completely surrounded by a wide moat.

The first mention of the parish of Our Lady dates back to 1125. That year, Bishop Burchard of Cambrai, in a charter, transferred the parish's personation to the Benedictine Abbey of Kortenberg, at the request of Abbess Ida. It's difficult to visualize the old church. The current neo-Gothic church was consecrated in 1875. The floor plan consists of a Latin cross. The transept measures 26.7 m, and the distance between the choir and the western tower is 59.8 m. This square tower measures 47.6 m to the weathercock. Those paths are great, they're renovating them. Many rot during wet periods.

The first mention of the parish of Our Lady dates back to 1125. That year, Bishop Burchard of Cambrai, in a charter, transferred the parish's personation to the Benedictine Abbey of Kortenberg, at the request of Abbess Ida. It's difficult to form a clear picture of the old church. Only a few iconographic sources have survived, such as a drawing by Vincent Anthony (c. 1650). The devastation caused to the building by the numerous wars and limited financial resources prevented a thorough restoration. Consequently, by 1870 the building was dilapidated and had to be replaced for the safety of the faithful. (Heemkring Campenholt)
