A new, elegant and sophisticated restaurant with reasonable prices, "CHALETGINEPRO," has opened. We stopped on the way down: two delicious first courses, a shared mixed fried dish, water, and two coffees for €30. The restaurant owner was very kind and even brought us two hot sandwiches, seeing how hungry we were. Very nice, he said he'd just opened and was planning to create a space for bicycles and motorcycles.

An excellent restaurant for enjoying typical Brescian mountain cuisine: homemade gnocchi with porcini mushrooms, pasta with Bagoss cheese, venison stew, casoncelli alla bresciana, and much more. E-bike rentals are available at the restaurant's adjacent facility (E-bike Dosso Alto). You can also charge your e-bike during lunch or coffee. (I recharged my legs instead.)

The climb to San Michele is worth it: good asphalt, limited traffic and terrific views on lake, but I 'd definitely ride in the other sense than suggested by komoot. Narrow hairpin turns are better for climbing than descending 'on the brakes' , the other side allows for speeding in larger curves. Just my humble opinion ; -)
