The rustic hut is surrounded by alpine meadows and offers you a fantastic view of the Wiesental valley, all the way to the Bernese Alps. If needed, you can also stay overnight here: there are five rooms with a total of eleven beds. As the name suggests, delicious Knöpfle with sauce are served here. If the alpine inn is closed, you will find a refrigerator with drinks and a trust-based cash box. All information can be found here: https://knoepflesbrunnen.de/Willkommen-Oeffnungszeiten-Webcam.

If your route leads directly from Checkpoint Hinter Stadel to Checkpoint Ranch (or vice versa), we'll actually give you the Belchen for free. Your path will lead over the Wiedener Eck anyway, and from there it's only a little over 400 meters of elevation gain extra to the Belchen. This makes it (if you count the two Kaiserstuhl peaks as one) the smallest peak of the Nuff Na. It's all just a question of perspective. Speaking of perspective: The word comes from the 16th century from the French perspective ("art of seeing, distant view"). And from up there, you have a view over the entire Southern Black Forest, to the Vosges, and even to the Alps. Enjoy it!

A lovely, well-maintained old inn. I remember it from my childhood. Even under the new owners, it's just as cozy and serves good, hearty food.

I was up there before 9 a.m. on a Monday during the summer holidays and was completely alone. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful view, like today. For hiking or mountain biking. Tip: If you want to experience something, get up early and, believe me, the peace and quiet on the Belchen is fantastic.
