The Catholic parish church of St. Maria Himmelfahrt in Bad Muskau is an impressive brick building in the arcade style, completed in 1873. Right next door is the Evangelical Church of St. James.

It's a farm track that's otherwise only open to cyclists and pedestrians. A great little avenue.

Among the most interesting buildings in Kromlauer Park are Kromlauer Castle and the Rakotz Bridge (Rakotz = Sorbian for cancer), built from 1863 to 1882 from basalt and fieldstone, also known locally as the Devil's Bridge. With a span of 35 meters, it crosses Lake Rakotz, but is no longer accessible. Its semicircle is reflected in the lake, creating a complete circle. The basalt columns arranged in the lake are called the organ.
