There are two paths leading to Senninger Alm. One is a bit more difficult due to the varied terrain, but more pleasant because you walk along the stream. The other is easier, with asphalt paving, which is also suitable for vehicles, but the stream is less visible. Both paths lead to the same destination, even from a distance. It was a beautiful trail.

A stunning view from the head of the valley. Further up, there's a place to leave your bike and hike for two hours to the "Neue Fürther Hütte" (New Fürth Hut). Due to the snowfields, we could only hike a short distance uphill, but the view was well worth it. Hiking boots are essential! The hut's opening hours can be found online.

The new Further Hut was opened in 1929 and offers a great view. It is located on the Tauern Westweg and the Arnoweg, and the Kratzenbergsee can be reached quickly below the hut. From the end of the valley (approx. 1,641 meters) it is also possible to transport backpacks using the material lift. More information is available at https://www.fuerther-huette.at/.

Local mountain with a premium view of the Großvenediger From the “Neue Fürther Hütte” follow the sign down to Kratzenbergsee. You cross the Seebach on a narrow wooden footbridge and then climb the well-marked path in bends through the eastern flank of the Larmkogel towards the Larmkogelscharte. At around 2500 mH a signpost marks the turnoff to Kratzenberg (3023 m). The terrain is becoming increasingly blocked. A well-designed path leads through the cirque to the Larmkogelscharte (2934 m). Here the transition to the Neue Thüringer Hütte and the Habachtal is possible. From the gap you climb to the right on the south ridge for the last 88 mH to the summit cross. At the end block terrain. The last few meters are insured with ropes (I)
