The Sanctuary of Santa Maria del Novello (also known as Santuario del Novello) is a fascinating religious building located in Travacò Siccomario, in the province of Pavia. This small country church stands in a suggestive and isolated position within the floodplain area, just a few steps from the main left bank of the Po River. Origins: The original structure dates back to the late 1500s (or early 1600s according to some local sources). It was commissioned by the Bonacossa family and built over a previous country oratory, of which it still preserves the original fresco of the Madonna inside. Protection from floods: According to popular tradition, the building was erected at that precise spot to invoke divine protection against floods.

Historically, the large farmhouses (cascine) on the plain south of Milan, located along the canals, were metaphorically called the "guardians of the waters". Cascina Grande di Rozzano (once known as Cascina Zanoletti) stands adjacent to the old village center and along the Naviglio Pavese. In the past, the life of this structure was marked by the cycle of the seasons and the management of the canals, irrigation ditches, and moats that flooded the surrounding rice fields. Today, the structure has been completely recovered by the Municipality and transformed into the Cascina Grande Cultural Center, which houses the municipal library, exhibition spaces, and green areas.

The little bridge over the Naviglio Pavese in Rozzano is located along the Alzaia opposite Cascina Grande. This footbridge is known both as a panoramic viewpoint over the canal and for having become a small place of worship for Italian comedy. This bridge is indeed the set for the famous scene from the film Chiedimi se sono felice (2000) with Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo, in which Giacomo's bicycle chain falls off at night while the trio is racing along the Naviglio. Sculptures and furnishings in corten steel designed for contemporary gardens, private green spaces, lobbies, and interiors. The natural oxidation of corten creates a fascinating surface with the colorations it takes on over time, it is resistant to atmospheric agents, does not require chemicals, therefore considered an ecological material par excellence, and integrates perfectly into the landscape.

The expression "leonardesque lock" is used because the entire system of Lombard locks is based on hydraulic principles perfected and designed by Leonardo da Vinci in his Codex Atlanticus. Among the leonardesque innovations applied to these structures are: Swinging gates: wooden doors arranged in a "V" shape (bacia vinciana) that exploit the pressure of the current itself to seal hermetically. Guillotine valves: small openings inserted into the main gates, manually operated to regulate the internal water flow and level the basin with minimal effort.

The Chapel of Madonna del Dosso is a charming rural oratory located between the Cantalupo and Baitana farmhouses, in the municipal territory of Gaggiano, along the "Camminando sull’acqua" cycle-pedestrian path. Dating back to the second half of the 18th century, it is an ideal place of peace for cycling excursions, often historically associated with the countryside of Trezzano sul Naviglio (the "de' Borini" rice fields area).

The Ex Filatures de Schappe is an ancient industrial complex located in Rozzano, along the banks of the Naviglio Pavese. This site is an important example of industrial archaeology in the area south of Milan. The plant was founded in 1898 by the Société Anonyme de Filatures de Schappe of Lyon for the combing and carding of silk fibers (silk waste called "schappe"). It is located at the third lock of the Naviglio Pavese in Rozzano, where the water jump was used to produce electrical energy for the factory.
