Beautiful church made of fieldstones... in front of it is a table with two benches... it was a nice short break for me on my hike.

The small wooden bridge is no longer there. It had become rotten and was replaced at the end of 2024 by a more modern version with white steel girders. Despite all this, you can of course walk or cycle across it and you have a beautiful view of the old railway bridge next to it. A little tip: the best photo moments are there in the late afternoon or early evening, depending on the time of year. Then the setting sun shines through the viaduct. All in all, the route is also and especially a good shortcut to Hamfelde / Lauenburg.
