Beautiful village, cut off by the ring road but perfect to visit by bike. The main church has a huge fresco on the facade, and beautiful Gothic terracotta details. Next door, the Confraternita del Gonfalone is also interesting. Here and there, other points of interest: frescoes, smaller chapels, alleys and stairways, the portico of the old market (with a Ventennio inscription and a plaque to the Fallen), medieval gates. Absolutely worth visiting.

Sanctuary in a very panoramic position, at the top of a climb that is at times very impactful but pleasant, amidst woods, always shaded, with beautiful hamlets along the route and some panoramic views here and there. Tables and benches for a break. Beautiful panorama of the Rossana valley.

Entering Venasca from the old road from Rossana, at the end of a small side alley, a house with a beautiful old fresco, in the "approximate" style typical of the past in these valleys (where they tried to do their best with what they had, but sometimes the best they had was "my cousin who is good with colors"). Around a Madonna on the throne with the young Jesus, we find Saint Lucia, Saint Dominic, Saint Louis, and Saint Martha: a rather peculiar choice of Saints. Nothing to write home about, but worth noticing if you pass by.

At the Colletta di Rossana, a memorial dedicated to the Pirate, very simple and moving. Impossible not to stop for a memento.

Wonderful little town, both for the fairytale panorama and for the town itself, which has a strange sense of beauty and harmony. For me it was love at first sight. The road that goes up there is wonderful, and also beautiful is the road that from Lemma climbs towards the Sanctuary of Valmala.
